PINK

The other week my 14 yo went to see Pink in concert with a group of her friends. She had an outfit in mind that revolved around her new boots but the dress was a cotton summer dress, so we self drafted a version of it for this dress. I used some silver satin and black double knit I had in my stash, I lined the bodice with bemsilk lining. I did have to do a FBA though if you can believe it, my darling has grown since the summer (she loved this) the girls had a great time and Pink game them a great show. Us mums could only hear from outside as we sipped hot beverages and flicked through magazines. There is a posse of us that head off together when the younger ones want to go to a concert. Sometimes the bands let us in for a few songs as Coldplay did the other month. I guess some artists are more parent aware than others.
